Asking for help . Its something I dread. Something that I hate doing. Something that I have to do.
We are not created to do everything on our own. We were made to live in community with others, to trust and rely on each other, to be vulnerable and more importantly to rely on God. Philippians 4:6 says; “Don’t worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done.” He wants us to cast our worry’s and cares upon him. We are not strong enough to bare them on our own.
But sadly our modern day world tells us that this is wrong. We’re taught to be independent and to do everything on our own. If I am learning anything through this fundraising process its that I cannot do any of this on my own. I need help. I need prayer and I need to pray. I need donations and I need to fund raise. I need to be vulnerable and open. And most importantly I need to trust God because He brought me to this point in my life and I am confident that he will provide.
So here I am, Asking for help. My first deadline is May 3rd, I have to have 6,000 dollars by then. I currently have a little over 1,700. I need your help. Wether you choose to help by donating or by praying for me, they are both greatly appreciated. If you choose to donate you may do so by clicking on “SUPPORT ME” at the top of this page. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog. I promise to post again soon to keep you all updated.
