1. I slept in a tent by myself. I slept in a tent with someone else. I slept on a bus with 54 other people and all of our stuff. I slept on tarp in the middle of the woods.

                              
     

  2. I only showered once. Baby wipes are my new best friend.
     
  3. I learned that when you’re hungry enough, you’ll eat anything without hesitation.. with no silverware.. using only your right hand.. sitting on the floor. 

                                   
     

  4. On night two, I wished I hadn’t signed up The World Race. I was done.

     

  5. I was stretched mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually; and, it was amazing.

                                 
     

  6. I learned who I am in Christ, and I learned that my Father is proud of me.
     
  7. I let go of baggage that I unknowingly had been carrying around with me for years.
     
  8. Life was spoken into me like I’ve never heard before. I was encouraged.
     
  9. I met my team: Team Go’el (Hebrew noun for ‘Redeemer’)

                           
     

  10. I experienced “community” like I’ve never experienced before.
     
  11. I fell in love with my squad.
