Hi friends!
Thank you for being interested in this World Race that I’m on and following me through my blogs and the blogs of others. I hope that you’ve received at least some idea of the kinds of things we do around the world in the name of Christ, I’ve been blessed to participate thus far and I know that each of you who has taken a vested interest will also be blessed, be it if you’ve dedicated time in prayer or made donations.
Your prayers are powerful and effective, as I have yet to see illness or injury, only a few very minor skin infections, and in general good physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Moreover, each of my team mates thus far as also been blessed by your prayers. You ca’tn be here physically, but rather you petition God, who can be anywhere, to be here with me and answer your prayers.
I’ve also been so so blessed by your donations thus far, and even though the race is only half-complete I’m so thankful and privileged to have had you help me come this far. The final stretch is coming up: The deadline to have all of our support in is January 4th, 2011, coming up in about 3 weeks. By that time I will need to have $4,103 come in to be fully funded or I will go home. God will have his will and I will praise him and be thankful one way or another. I do want to stay and experience and further his Kingdom in Asia, the last few months of the race. I know He’ll provide, and I’m asking one more time for anyone who reads this to be open to having God provide through you. It’s our privilege to take part in His work, be it leaving everything behind and giving our whole body and life to His calling as I have for this world race, or be it giving through some donations and coming along with us in spirit.
Money is always dirty business no matter when it comes up, even in missions. But God is in the business of transforming the dirty things of this world into things useful and righteous for His good purpose, things like myself. So pray about supporting me, and if God is tugging at your heart to do so, the support link is on the left hand column. Simply asking is all the fundraising I can do from halfway around the world.
