Ha, I’m in Africa. Oh goodness.

Just a short blog to let everyone know we made it safely!

It was a heck of a travel day! In fact, travel day turned into travel week! A full day on planes, two full days twiddling our thumbs in South Africa waiting for international bus service, 73+ hours on busses and crazy border crossings, but God worked and we’re all here in Africa safe and sound! No one lost any luggage and everyone kept calm and positive attitude while we worked through surprise after surprise with African travel shenanigans. Please, bless our logisitics people: Juliette Steele, Stacey Compton and Daniel Durrick, as well our new and now battle-hardened squad leaders Joshua Maisner and Lia Frederick!

My team, team Pro’digal is working alongside team MOR3 (more) with Harvester International Ministries (HIM) doing village to village evangelism in the hills of northern Malawi. Internet is going to be scarce this month, as well as electricity, fresh water, and many other creature comforts. But this is what we asked for! Please continue to pray for our safety and the hearts and souls of those we share the good news of Jesus with. Thanks for all your prayers and support, I’ll be sure to post some blogs here pretty quick!

Thank you to those who have been obedient to the call to support this ministry! You’re not just supporting me, you’re also supporting the many ministries we work with and sharing in the work being done in all these countries. As far as support goes, our final deadline to have all of our support in is January 4th! I still need $4,203 to be fully funded so pray about supporting me and do whatever seems best to you, because God’s will will be done no matter what! Nonetheless, the holidays are coming and the best way to bless me would be to support me, if you feel called to do so; I can’t receive packages anyways! I barely made it to the last support deadline of $10,000, so now it really is going to be in God’s hands to bring in support. In all things, though, may name the name of the Lord be praised!
