It’s a new word, but I’m sure it will be spreading around quickly now that I’ve made it up. I would like to present it as a reward to my Canadian (or Canadan) friend Jon. As we were leaving for our Thailand debrief, Stacy asked if she could borrow my ipod. I said sure this is fine, I understand because I have the most coolest stuff on my ipod.
Details get sketchy at this point but somehow it ended up with Jon while he was on the bus, then never made it’s way off the bus. The news was broken to me on the beautiful beaches of Kosamet where we had our debrief. I was upset, but said it was okay, and was ready to move on. He said he’d buy me a new one, but I said please don’t worry about it. This was not enough for Jon.
Through prayer and afternoon snack fasting, Jon asked God if he should buy me a new ipod, and God said yes. So Jon, in his servant’s heart, purchased for me a brand new ipod! I am overwhelmed at his kindness and have thus instituted a new word : Humbility. Jon, in his humbility, made ammends and went the extra mile to make a wrong right. Thank you Jon.
In other news, we are now in Cambodia.
