Well we finally got what some of us have been looking for: manual labor. We got the go ahead to start construction of the church up in Lomo de Corvina. First thing we had to do was level out our area. Not so easy. That job in and of itself took a long time.

After getting a somewhat level area, we discovered that we would need something to keep the sand from sliding down and getting uneven again. Enter sandbags. We got a crew of shovelers and haulers to outline our church area. My hands don´t like me anymore.

And this is after cleaning up.

Today we got split into two groups, one taking the morning shift and the other the afternoon shift. This morning we did more sandbagging and more working on the walls that had also started yesterday. This Sunday we will hopefully have our first church service in the building.

Right now the ladies are taking their turn in the shower so I decided to send this blog specifically to you. Yes you.

I´m pretty tired. I feel old. Like Clinton. That was a joke. Peace.
