I just got back from a trip to the Bahamas. My friend and I went to pray and look for and ask about possible ministry opportunities. Going carry on only and wearing sandals the whole time, we were ready for an adventure.

My friend had been before, so he knew where we needed to go.

We did alot of walking, which gave alot of aches and pains, but the view was worth it.

The Bahamas is a beautiful place. The people are very friendly. I love the Bahamian accent, it has a certain nobility to it. God is certainly present in the Bahamas. Every bus we rode (the few times we weren’t walking) had Christian music playing. But there is definitley a need there. My friend Kurt has a heart for the young people of the Bahamas, and we went to see about possible ministry beginnings there.

We talked to locals and visited a church and the response was very accepting to the idea of helping the young people of the Bahamas. So now that we know the opportunity is there, we will continue to seek God’s direction on whether this is something He wants to be pursued or not.

All said and done, we had a great trip. It was very nice to get away for a short time and collect myself. Now that I’m back I’m even more ready for the race to begin.
