The start of a journey. A journey towards a goal. But what goal, and where does a pilgrimage originate? In “A Pilgrim’s Progress”, Evangelist directs Christian towards the Celestial City, which begins his pilgrimage and adventure.
Who directed me on my pilgrimage? Who shared with me the Good News and pointed me towards the goal? My parents did. It was my Mom who greeted us every morning saying, “This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!” It was my Dad who took my brothers and me and prayed with us every night. It was my parents who showed me the path to walk by walking that path themselves. By leading through example.
Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it.
The path I chose I have taken from my parents, mighty people in Christ, who showed me the way to go.
