I just wanted to update everyone on what is going on with me. We left Guatemala on Saturday so that we could down here to Nicaragua as soon as possible. On the way over here, we ended up going through El Salvador and Honduras and finally ended up in Jimotepe Nicaragua. In San Salvador we stayed the night and left on a bus at 5 in the morning, so that was quite intersting but we all felt very rested since we stayed at a motel nearby and actually had hot showers! One quick little story at the Honduras/El Salvador border. We were all on the bus getting our passports checked and the lady seemed very nice to me, so I politely asked her if we would be getting a stamp in our passports. She asked all of us foreigners who wanted a stamp and about 20 of us said yes, so she collected our passports and got off the bus. Well it ended up delaying the bus a half hour and didn’t make the bus driver very happy with us at all, but we got a stamp from both Honduras and El Salvador. Yeah!

On another note, last night I stayed up pretty much all night coughing and throwing up. Luckily I only threw up twice within a period of a half hour so it wasn’t bad, but I was just so tired from everything. My cough would not let me go to sleep and yet my body was crying so badly for rest. How hard that is. I think with my throwing up and Alissa throwing up last night as well, that makes 8 times for our group this year. Right now, three on Team Zeo are sick and we leave tomorrow so please continue to lift us up in prayer. This will be the first time we will be separated from the larger Group B and therefore it will be rougher on me, being the only guy too. I know that God is going to use us in a mighty way on this island of Ometepe in Lake Nicaragua. There is an orphanage that we will be staying at and helping with there, including loving on the 27 kids there currently and working on building projects on the grounds. There might also be some church planting opportunities in a nearby town, so please keep us in prayer that God would direct our paths to where He desires that we would be. Thanks for all your prayers and support and please remember to leave me comments since they encourage my heart a lot. Love you all!
