Hello all my amazing supporters! I thank God for you and for your ministries all over the country. You are truly the wind in my sails! Your prayers and intercessions before the Almighty God keep me safe and ever growing closer to the Father. Never doubt your prayers and their effects! Indeed, they are the most important thing; here I am, just doing the “mopping up” as one faithful follower of Christ used to say.
I am now in Thailand and I regret that I did not blog more during my time in Costa Rica as I had such a wonderful stay there! Of all the places I have been thus far I would seriously consider returning there and in fact I do hope the Lord calls me back to Heredia, Costa Rica for some amount of time in the future. The relationships formed there as well as the ministry opportunities impacted me greatly. The Lord blessed me with a great relationship with a young highschool kid named Louis and I can say it was truly a difficult task walking away from him. He will be in my thoughts and prayers; may the Lord allow us to meet again someday. Another highlight was the meeting of one great man of God by the name of David. This man may have just changed my life. I thank the Lord for him and am forever indebted to his kindness, generosity, care, wisdom, and knowledge. The late night funeral stories (you had to have been there), edifying discussions, amazing food, and wedding preparation will never be forgotten. Thank you, David! I also very much enjoyed teaching a handful of classes, doing devotionals with the high schoolers, giving a message to the student body, and regularly visiting the boys’ home.
God truly blessed me this past month and I believe it can be attributed to the prayers going before me. So thank you! I look forward with great anticipation to this new month in the “land of smiles”. I pray the Lord continues to grow and use me for His eternal purposes and His glory; for in my weaknesses He is made great and because He is in me I will do greater things than He (John 14:12) To Him always goes all the glory for He is ever deserving and worthy. Thank you all and I love you.
