I will be leaving the USA in 9 days!!!
A few things have changed since we last spoke about the details of the trip.
So here is the update:
1) Thank you to everyone that has helped me reach the $6500 mark to launch from the USA. My ticket has been purchased and I will be leaving from Chicago bound for Africa with I-squad (my 60 teammates).

Our destinations have changed (and are subject to change at ANYTIME so don’t be alarmed if I show-up in a country that wasn’t remotely on the list of destinations).Jamal’s Itinerary (as of 8/27/12)
– Sept 4th: I-squad arrives in Chicago for pre-launch activities
– Sept 5th-7th: Zimbabwe/Botswana (I-Squad is divided between both locations)
– Oct: South Africa
– Nov: Swaziland
– Dec: China
(Note: $11,000 due in my account by Dec. 1st or I am sent home)
– Jan: Philippines
– Feb: India
– Mar: Romania (Moldova was replaced by Romania)
(Note: $15,500 due in my account by Mar. 1st or I am sent home)
– Apr: Ukraine
– May: Honduras
– Aug: I return to the USA at this point (and hopefully NOT in December or March because that would be sad right!? And you don’t want me to be sad do you?).
…which takes me into my next point….I NEED YOUR HELP!
I need you to spread the word. Tell your brothers & sisters, aunts & uncles, cousins, friends, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, your great-great…(ok perhaps, that was too far), your neighbors, eye doctor, pastor, dentist, mailman, co-workers, boss, the “greeter” at walmart, hairdresser, strangers at Kroger/Harris Teeter/Food Lion, and anyone else you can think of.

GOD provides resources but if the resources don’t know about the mission trip then how can they provide? Will you allow Him to provide through YOU?
If we can get 50 people to pledge $18 a month for the next 10 months, I will be fully funded.
