…and since you're reading this, I would consider you my friend!

This blog will be different than my previous blogs.

No crazy analogies…

No list of "screw-ups"…

No weird stories about swimming thru swaps to catch turtles…

Just an AMAZING story about Grace, Favor, and Blessings!!

For the past 3 weeks, I have been traveling to various destinations to complete fundraisers for my world race.

And this blog is to say "THANK YOU!!!"

Thank you to all of my friends and family that have written emails, organized fundraisers, helped set-up/breakdown my garage sales, took pictures, made videos, shared/mentioned/"liked" my facebook messages, subscribed to "jamals world race" facebook page, commented on the blog, met me for breakfast, met me for lunch, heck…met me for dinner too, donated financially, bought gear for my world race, sent a copy of my newspaper article to me, listened to my "11 country in 11 month speech" enough times that you now have it memorized, donated items for the garage sales, spoke and sent encouraging words in cards, and participated/attended the benefit concert to support my world race.

It would take 8.39 hours to read this blog if I mentioned everyone individually. I don't want to forget anyone so I'm not going to do that but I do have a PRAISE REPORT:

Over the past 3 weeks, I was able to raise over $4000 thus putting me over the $6500 benchmark I need to guarantee my departure in September. The deposit will take a few days to appear in my account but in 60 days I WILL definitely be leaving the USA.

$4000 in 3 weeks…cRaZy right!? Tell me that's not grace at it's best! It's fair to say that my expectations were completely blown out of the water.

Although, I have reached my benchmark that guarantees my departure, I still need your help. I have to raise $15500 in total to complete the world race. If you have a (moral and ethical) talent that could help me raise money, would like me to speak to your church, small groups, or supporting organization, know an organization that would like to sponsor me, would like to help organize a fundraiser for me, or have ideas for fundraisers, I encourage you to leave a comment on the blog, send me an email, call me, facebook me, text me, and do whatever else the "cool kids" are doing now to contact me. <—believe it or not, my conversations tend to be one, long run-on sentence also!smiley

I am willing to travel to spread the message but I know that I CANNOT do this without you!

If you're on facebook…share my posts and let your friends know.

If you are on twitter…tweet your followers and spread the message.

Again, thank you all for your support!
