I, recently, heard a story about this teenager that had just received his drivers permit and asked his dad if he could borrow the car.
The dad said, “son, I’ll make you a deal. If you bring your grades up, read the Bible everyday and cut your hair, I’ll let you borrow the car.”
About a month later, the son returns and asks to borrow the car again.
The dad responds, “well, you DID bring your grades up, you ARE reading the Bible, but you HAVEN’T cut your hair.”
The son says “well dad, I’ve been thinking about it. Moses had long hair…Samson had long hair…even Jesus had long hair…”
The dad says, “yes son, you’re correct. And they walked everywhere they went.”
