God is here. We have now been in Nicaragua for 4 days, and all I can say is Jesus is here, he is moving, and he is protecting. We are located in the small town of Pueblo Nuevo Nicaragua. Upon arriving our host stressed the importance of us not leaving the house after sundown, and we need to lock the doors every time we leave. We have the general feeling we are not in safe area. There is only one church here that everyone said would only last two weeks, it has now been 6 months, and the church is still here. Our host also mentioned there is a lot of witchcraft in this area, and I can tell you first hand this is very true. The first night we were here we experienced a series of very strong spiritual attacks, and it ended up being a five-hour session of intense spiritual warfare. Two of the girls on my team described it as they saw dark figures in the room and felt hands on their wrist. It was all very real. This is just a quick update saying we need prayer, lots and lots of prayer. The enemy is attacking us because he knows the potential we have to change and save lives here. This town needs the love of Jesus to be shared throughout it, and my team and I feel as if we were placed here to make a difference, and to start the fire in these people’s souls to become more like Jesus, and to begin their walk towards salvation.
P.S I did write a blog from Costa Rica and I will post it as soon as possible. I am alive don’t worry.
