Goodmorning everyone!
(Well from Japan at least!)
I just have a quick prayer request to ask of everyone! About a month and a half ago I got a small bump at the bottom of my tailbone that was very uncomfortable and rather painful when you put pressure on it. Well in about two weeks it went away. But about another two weeks ago it came back and only continued to get worse. As far as I know it’s what is called a Pilonidal Cyst, caused by an ingrown hair and usually it only takes a simple lancing procedure to take care of it and then you’re good to go. But in my case things seem to be a bit different. My case is apparently worse than most first time cases and it involves me having to get surgery to get it removed. The problem is that the doctors here in Japan have been sending me from doctor to doctor and no one seems to be able to do the surgery or do it soon enough. So right now I’m stuck at whether to do the surgery back home in the states and recover there, then fly out to meet up with the squad in Malaysia. Or to wait until Malaysia and just have the surgery there.
So if you would, please keep me in your prayers and just ask Dad first off, for a miraculous healing (which is obviously the best option). But also, if necessary for guidance, favor, peace, patience and just everything to work out between insurance and everything else. This has been quite a frustrating process and it’s just been really tough to wait on and trust in the Lord!
On that note, please also be praying for my Squadmate, Mary Chandler. She will unfortunately be leaving us and flying home to have surgery on her ankle. Unfortunately, the recovery process is about 3 months or so, so it doesn’t seem like she will be rejoining us on the race. so please just be praying for her for peace and understanding for what the Lord has in store for her!
