My name is Jacob LeRoy Schroeder, but you can call me Jake. I am 23 years old and hail from Palm Coast, FL but I currently live on a bus traveling around the country. By that I mean, I work for a ministry called the Silver Ring Thing. We travel around the country putting on “concert style events” speaking to teenagers and young adults about abstinence and God’s view on sex before marriage. Some of my greatest passions include traveling (obviously), being outdoors, and photography. I am an extremely family oriented person and my mother is my greatest hero! I am so incredibly excited to be a part of this amazing opportunity to not only travel the world, but more importantly bless those who are not quite as fortunate as I am. I am so excited to grow from this experience and get a completely different outlook on life as well as see myself stretched to new heights physically, mentally, and spiritually! My route will take me to Colombia, Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Cambodia, Thailand, Japan, Malaysia, Swaziland, South Africa, and Botswana. Join me as we encounter this adventure together and see what God has up His sleeve!
