Today was a special day. We leave Moldova in a couple of days and on one of the last days a package arrived. It wasn’t for me, but it might as well been. The package was from whom, none other that Feed My Starving Children. FMSC is an organization that has several sites among the Minneapolis areas that I have volunteered at with a bunch of friends for all four years of college. It was amazing to get to see FMSC’s process through the entire way. I would never have thought that I would get the chance to actually give out some of these food that I had prepared. Most of all I was most unprepared for what emotions I would have to the package. Seeing this packet of VEGGIES, SOY, CHICKEN and RICE brought forth a sense of comfort that was so great. It was a reminder that people are praying for me, a reminder that people are at home making a difference and most of all that people at home are supporting me in this endeavor.
