If you asked me a month ago what I thought about going to the other side of the world to love on kids would be like, I would never have thought that I could love it this much. God has just been pouring the heck out on this trip so far. First, the ministry hosts, Pastor Pirot and his wife Meow have been so kind to us ever since we walked into their door a week ago. When they heard we were coming to stay with them they built a whole upstairs area just for us to stay! Many times ive wished that I could communicate more than a couple words at a time but sometimes I am astounded by our ability to laugh withthe Pastor anyways. In fact, this overwhelming joy has been in nearly every Thai person we’ve has the pleasure of meeting.

Another thing that has suprised me (in the best of ways) is the kids. If you really knew me then you know I am so uncomfortable around kids, ive just never had the good experience that others seem to have regarding kids. Yet in just a couple of days my heart has been filled with comfort and joy. God had taken that insecurity and turned it into a strength. Not enough thanks to give for the happiness im feeling.

NEXT THING IN THE LIST OF DOPE THINGS GOING ON, is my wonderful team! How can I describe? Lets go through the crew: David, dont let the skinny cloths and low low cut necks fool you, this guys is rad. Whatever the situation a sense of peace follows that guy. Sometimes he just starts these dope worship sessions out of nowhere, which is something i find myself really needing time to time. Emily, oh gosh this girl, shes a joyous lady. Ive maybe seen her not smiling for a total of like 5 mins whist we’ve been in Thailand. She also brings a good perspective to most talks, nor is she quiet about her opinions. Which is not bad at all. Maybe i dont always agree with them but i love it all the same. Alyssa has turned into a good friend very quickly on this trip. We share a lot of things we love and a ton of laughs have been had because of it. She reminds me of home in alot of ways. Shes been more help to me mentally than she could know, should you read this. Thanks Lyss. Reya Sunshine, i bet you can tell why we call her that. She was very sick for the first couple days we got here but SHOOT ive never seen someone still so happy about being where she is. Honestly, i wish i knew her better, because i can just tell shes a crazy awesome woman of God. If youve been a part of her story i hope youre proud of who she is. Cecily, shes one impressive person. I cant imagine how hard it would be to be the team leader but she handles it with ease. Shes the one i often teach with when we go to the schools and i can honestly say that she is going to get so much out of this trip. She will see God in ways the rest of us could only hear with disbelief. So dang proud to serve and grow with her. Lucas, this man on f ire for the kingdom. Its crazy in an awesome way. He does everything to his best even if hes sick or tired hes out there playing a good drunk in the skit or laughing with 50 kids around him. POINT BEING this journey hasbeen so dang blessed i cant help but love every second.
