Hello everyone! My name is Jacob Crawford, I am 18 years old and live in Portland, Oregon. Whew, so much is running through my head as I prepare for this trip. Looking around at all of the beautiful people that I will be getting to know over the next year I feel somewhat less prepared than I had originally thought. I’ve never been one to manifest my faith into words proclaiming my love for God. So in contrast to all the things that I have heard and read from the people that I have encountered, I can’t help but feel inferior in that respect.
But make no mistake people! Simply because I don’t have much experience in openly communicating my thoughts on faith in this way, doesn’t mean that I both have less of a calling to serve for the kingdom of the Lord or will I let it diminish my drive to get all of what I want to communicate onto this blog.
