I apologize for not posting a blog sooner but, I have felt like there has been nothing to write about. I still don’t know what exactly to write about so I will just tell you a little about what we are doing here.
I am now in Romania about 45 minutes outside of Arod, Romania. My team is here with 2 other teams from my squad. We are staying at a massive campground out in the middle of nowhere. We are staying in a building that is 4 stories tall and it reminds me of the dorms back in college. There are about 15 rooms on each floor with a community bathroom.
What does ministry look like this month well let me tell you. Manual labor about sums it up. We work all day every day doing some time of chore such as, washing the tile floors by hand, washing all the windows in the building, cleaning hundreds of carpet squares by hand, mowing the grass, cleaning bathrooms, washing dishes, cleaning all the rooms, and probably more that I can’t think of right now.
I was not a happy camper coming into this month becuase if you know me at all manual labor is the last thing that I want to be doing. I can’t change the kind of ministry we do each month but, what I can change is the attitude that I approach that ministry with. I decided right off the bat that I would go into all this manual labor with a positive attitude. I have chosen to be joyful about the task at hand. I hope that in the near future there will be more to write about but for now this is all there is. Thank you for taking the time to read my blog!
