What does it look like you ask? Well, let me tell you! We have a fairly busy schedule this month. We are working with an organization called Kids International Ministries (KIM). Most of the squad stayed in Minila but my team and one other team flew to the most southern island of the Philippines called Mindanao and we are staying in the town of Malaybalay. We live in what I would call a compound where there is the house where we live and then there is an orphanage. We spend most of our time in the nursery helping with the infants to 3 year olds. There are also older kids that go up to age 14 I think, that we work with as well. There is also a lot of construction to be done. This week we are starting the jail ministry and tutoring at the schools which I am excited to have more options HaHa. I have also been asked to lead a small group at church which I am so excited about I am leading girls and boys from age 13 to 23. I know big age difference but the youth around the world is so different from what we consider youth in America.

That is just a little of what we have been doing here in the Philippines and as more starts happening I will be writing more blogs.

love
