We were driving down the road in Rwanda on our way to speak at a school in a provence that was about 3 hours away. At one point Uganda was on our left and Tanzania was on our right. The veiw was of these magnifigant hills. They were so beautiful. During this time as I was ridding along and looking at God’s creation God spoke to me. I was just so amazed by the beauty of these massive hills right before my eyes. God reminded me of how MIGHTY He is. He reminded me that He was the creator of this world and that He was the creator of humans. He reminded me that it was Eve that sinned against God in the beginning. God spoke to me letting me know that right then He could have banished humans from the earth because we turned our backs on Him. God loves us so much that instead of banishing humans from the earth He sent Jesus Christ to the earth to pay the penalty for our sins by dying on the cross. God just didn’t stop there…3 days later He raised Jesus from the dead so that once we ask Jesus into our life that the Holy Spirit will dwell inside of us. You see God was letting me know how much He loves us and how much He wants us around beccause He wants a personal relationship with us. It is truly breath taking here in Rwanda the land of 1,000 hills. It has really made me stop and think about God and His creation. It makes you more aware of how MIGHTY God is and how much He loves us.
