Only ONE Life to Make a Difference

A little bit about me:
If you don't find me doing this….

(messing around with friends)

this….

(studying for classes)

or this….

(dancing)

Then you can guarantee you will find me doing this….

(service)

This brings me to why I decided the World Race was the program for me. No matter where my relationship with God has been, one of the things I have always known is the heart he gave me for the needy (Proverbs 29:7). I have spent the past four years diligently attending to my schoolwork (brownie points to mom for that) and in my spare time volunteering in the Davidson and Charlotte community. I believe more than anything that every person deserves a basic standard of living. This right includes: dignity, freedom, love, a home, safety, and plenty of food and water. To me, the World Race is an active call to make that dream a reality.  The World Race is giving me 11 months to wholeheartedly devote my life to loving ALL of God's people and that is a gift I plan on intentionally embracing.

Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy. Proverbs 31:8-9
