I never thought I’d be a teacher. In fact, that was the last thing I wanted to do!
But this month I have had the incredible opportunity of teaching 8th and 9th grade students at Destiny Christian School. I had no idea what I was walking into, and after one day at the school I learned that I wasn’t just assistant teaching, I was the teacher.
This came as a shock at first. I had NO experience! I didn’t know the first thing about teaching a class! I had no idea how to manage a classroom, or make a lesson plan.
But the Lord quickly showed me that he knows my heart way better than I do.
These past few weeks have been amazing, as the Lord has revealed to me how passionate I am about education. And to my surprise he has shown me the great joy that being a teacher brings me.
I have learned through trial and era and my students have had alot of grace for me along the way.
I am thankful for this opportunity, because I love being a teacher.
