Hello! Thank you so much for your time and interest in this amazing journey God has called me to. My name is Jacob Portillo. I love studying Theology and Church History, building communities, and encouraging, challenging, and equip others to recognize and continually live in God’s presence–through abiding in Christ– to further reveal God’s love for us and for the world for His glory. I enjoy reading and skateboarding as well as being with friends and family. God is doing amazing things in my life and I pray earnestly that He is doing so as well in yours. As I venture out in to the world on The World Race, I meditate on the words of Isaiah as he euphorically answered God’s calling to ministry:
“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying,
‘ Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?’
Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
Thank you once again for your interest in what God is doing in my life! I am thrilled to be a part of The World Race, a journey to 11 countries in 11 months, spreading the love and good news of Jesus Christ.
