It’s me!

I was born in North Carolina to a loving family.  I dont say it much and I dont know why but I have amazing parents, Mike and Sharon McLafferty.  I have an older sister who is married to a great brother-in-law and they have 2 awesome/fun/crazy/bright kids.  I have an older brother who recently got married to a wonderful lady.  I was once a long time sooner fan and still was when we moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma (cowboy country) in 1991.  While in high school I had many differnet career choices i wanted to do, sports writing, photo, Storm chaser and more.  When I graduated high school i found my love in sports, I had always loved sports but it wasnt til my senior year when i started to click.  My freshman year at Oklahoma State I was a student assisant in the sports media relations office.  I worked for the track team writing stories and doing various things around the office.  The next year my loved turned toward coaching and I love basketball, so I became a manager for the Oklahoma State cowboys.  It’s been 4 years now and I love every second of it, there are some hard days but in the end its all worth it.  I’m a co-head manager with a great friend stephen. 

I have recently devoted my time, energy, and focusing on God more.  God really spoke to me one night while I was listening to the “Gift of singleness” from Ben Stuart from breakaway ministries.  The main point in the message is that being single is a gift from God.  You can do the things that you want to do and dont have to ask anyone.  You can go to starbucks, go to a basketball/football game or whatever your heart desires you can do it.  I highly suggest everyone listen to this podcast from Itunes, its all free.
