This is Emmi, the founder of the ministry Lighthouse in Action, a Thai ministry based out of Chang Mai, Thailand that five of the nine teams from J-Squad are working with, including mine. This is her story.
The village that Emmi was born in? That's where I am living this month. Her father who killed her mother? I eat dinner with him every night. The people who claimed her as cursed? I work in the rice paddies with them each morning.
I. am. SO. excited.
God has moved mountains to restore Emmi's relationship with her father and He's continuing to break through the darkness of this country by bringing His light into this Buddhist village without one single believer.
We know our team has been chosen to live in this village this month.
We claim protection over our ministry to these beautiful people.
We believe with all of our hearts that God is up to something big.
Please continue to pray for Team Ahava as we spend the month living in Northern Thailand with the Hilltribe, doing daily life with them and being 'Jesus in the flesh'. Pray that God continues to penetrate hearts, that we are able to build relationships, show love, and be His light in their lives!
