So today I woke up to a beautiful Saturday morning in India. Guys THE WORLD RACE IS HERE! I have been here for about a week and what a week it has been! Our Squad has been blessed to begin the race as an all squad month with one of the most amazing ministry contacts ever! His ministry has so much going on that it is nearly impossible to keep up. Each day of ministry our teams rotate so that we can experience it all. Here is a quick recap of what we have gotten to do so far.

Day 1: Daughter’s Ablaze started our ministry in a beautiful place set aside to seek God. The locals call it Prayer Mountain and they hike there when they want to engage in focused prayer. We had the privilege to clear the brush from around some of the prayer cabins and off the path. This first day of ministry not only did I get to use a machete but I was surrounded by the absolutely stunning view from that mountain top. It was a time that I could pray and sing his praises while I worked and it was wonderful. It was such a blessing to be able to take care of such a holy place.
Day 2: On the second day of ministry we leant a helping hand at a children’s retreat. It was in a neighboring village and looked a lot like VBS except that oh yea there were over 2200 children there! We helped manage the chaos as they played games, sang praises to God, and had the gospel presented to them. It was one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen or heard when those 2200 little voices joined together to praise the lord. It was something I won’t soon forget. I am so glad that I could be there to help so that these precious children could hear the gospel.

Day 3: On Friday we got to work at the hospital. Before we began, we got to sit in with the staff for devotions. It was a wonderful time. We even learned to sing a hymn in their native language. The people here love God so fiercely. During prayer they prayed fervently in their own language for their patients. Before lunch we cleaned in some of the wards that are not being used because of the expansion going on in the hospital. The second half of the day we got to help with the construction of the hospital. It was great to be a part of! I cannot wait to see what the next thing we will be doing is.
God is at work here. Through our ministry and within our squad. I cannot wait to share more with you! If you would like to donate to support my world race please hit the donate button. I still have a little more than $2000 to raise before April 1st. Please prayerfully consider giving so I can continue to help this local ministry bring God’s kingdom to earth in India!
