Sometimes hugs are the last thing on the mind after a long hard day in the hot sun on a construction site. I could imagine, after working day in and day out giving the city a notable skyline, rest is what would be on my mind.
Tao, the founder of the Little Hug Child Ministry, explained to us that the construction workers in Thailand are mostly Cambodian people who come over on work visas. Of course when you move you take your family along with you, right? After my brother-in-law got a job in Philly he didn’t leave his family in KC, did he? No. Unfortunately, for them because they come to Thailand on work visas their children cannot go to school because they would need education visas for that. So they are left to just hang around the construction site, which is just off their home site.
God put Little Hugs on Tao’s mind. This is a ministry that takes the children from the sites and provides them a place to learn, play, sing, and get hugs. We had the opportunity last month to just love on these precious children.
The vision for Little Hug Child Ministry is to provide education and more for the Cambodian children living in Thailand. If you want to check them out see their Facebook Page.

This is their home.

Some of our students after taking them back home

We sing and dance.

And play outside.

Then some relaxing arts and crafts before lunch.
