It’s done! I am officially in Africa! Thank you to everyone that has been a part of this journey. My squad mates and I have been traveling for what feels like an eternity.
We started in Atlanta, flew 10 hours to Istanbul, Turkey, had a layover for 10 hours, then a 10 hour flight to Johannesburg, Africa, and the final leg is a 10 hour bus ride to MOZAMBIQUE!

Man, I guess when it’s written out it actually does seem like forever. But anyway… I haven’t had the chance to give you an update!
Drumroll please……

When we signed up for the race we knew our route was subject to change. So it did!
Instead of doing #11n11, we are now doing #12n11!
Here is the updated route:
Mozambique
Swaziland
Madagascar (three weeks)
*added Malaysia (for two weeks)
China (three weeks)
Mongolia
Myanmar
India
Nepal
Costa Rica
Nicaragua
El Salvador
I have asked some to pray for me in April because I was afraid of being in Mongolia that month. And now look at God! Now we will be in Mongolia in May- prayer works!
I plan to re-read The Circle Maker by Mark Batterson this year. In this book he’s talks about how BOLD prayers honor God and God honors BOLD prayers. So this year I am going to be BOLD. We as a squad have committed to praying BIG BOLD prayers. My friend Adia (thanks D!) made a prayer journal for me. I plan to use it from cover to cover this year.
Will you be BOLD this year? We have to stop humanizing God and realize He’s the CREATOR and He wants us to be BOLD. How can I be praying for you? If you want me to pray for you and with you email me: [email protected].
