Hi,

My name is Jackie Hall, born in Philadelphia, PA. I grew up in a Christian, God-fearing Seventh-Day Adventist home. Through the years I was taught about the love of Jesus. And attended Christian school until college. I’ve always knew Jesus had plans for me from a young age. Recently, I started to really dig into the Word on my own to teach myself about things I’ve never learned or experienced. I was feeling really empty and knew there was more to my life than what I was doing. Currently, I am around the age Jesus was when He did more of His ministry with His disciples. At this point in my life, I want to live my life like Jesus and His disciples did.

And so I am!

Have you heard of The World Race? It is a stretching journey to serve “the least of these” while amongst real and raw communities. It is a unique mission trip that is a challenging adventure for young adults to abandon worldly possessions and a traditional lifestyle in exchange for an understanding that it’s not about you; it’s about the Kingdom.

One night in particular, I was frustrated with everything; living day to day, going to work, coming home, going to church on Sabbath, coming home. It isn’t a life I felt was fulfilling. It wasn’t a life I felt God wanted for me. That night, I told God, “I want more for my life, a change of some sort.” I asked Him, ” What can I do?” My next thoughts were of my friend, Belle, who served on the World Race in 2014. I asked God if this was Him speaking to me. And of course, I didn’t hear an immediate response. But the next morning, the World Race was my first thought when I woke up and I couldn’t get it out of my mind. I contacted Belle to ask her about her experience. She said, “it was life changing!” Look at GOD!

With a Gideon moment, I applied for the program, still not sure what He was saying to me. And needing yet another sign– an acceptance in the program. After a month of the painstaking wait, I have been accepted into the January 2017 race. I will be traveling to 11 countries in 11 months! Huge undertaking– I know, but when He says go, you have to go. These are the countries I am scheduled to travel:

Madagascar
Swaziland
Mozambique
Mongolia
Myanmar
China
India
Nepal
Costa Rica
Nicaragua
El Salvador

While on the race I will teach and preach to widows and orphans in Africa, bring hope to refugees and other broken people in Southeast Asia, work in churches and schools in India and Nepal, feed the homeless and help children in Central America, and so much more! Everything I do will be for the glory of God and the furtherance of His kingdom.

Why am I telling you this? Well, I need your help. I’m asking that you partner with me as the hands and feet of Christ to win souls for Him. The total cost of the missionary trip is $17,500. With your support, I will be able to cover the cost of my missionary training, travel (land, air, and sea), lodging, and food for the entire year. I plan to sell my car and other personal items but that is not enough.

Can you help me by donating at one of the following levels?

$1000
$750
$500
$250
$100
$50
$25

Any amount you are able to donate will truly help and I really appreciate your consideration.

I will also provide regular updates to all of my donors during this life changing experience through my blog. I cannot tell you how excited I am to do God’s work! Please feel free to pass this email along to your colleagues, family, and friends.

Thank you for your friendship, support, and prayers!

Be blessed,

Jackie Hall
