Tears well up my eyes. Emotions run wild.

I, along with my 57 squadmates, am listening to Josh and Jen express their hearts about going home, just 2 days before the one way ticket AIM already booked for them to fly back to the US from Kuala Lumpur and leave the race early, all because they have not met the fundraising deadline by this time of the race. They are out of time.

BUT… wait, this is where the story gets good.

Because you see, the God and Father that we 57 passionate and perhaps crazy world racers come to know just happen to also hold the key to heavenly storehouses. His name is called Jehovah Jireh, Provider God. His almightiness holds the key to the mysteries of the universe, yet He is also a personal God that loves to provide for His children. He is not finished with Josh and Jen yet. For months, squadmates spent interceding for this married couple, who has to raise double the amount as everyone else. We prayed, we blogged, we updated Facebook status, but the amount need is still at a daunting $10,000. Our faith grew weary, their faith grew weary. Is it perhaps time to go home? Even if God is a provider God, would He wait until this very last minute?

Just in the Nick of Time.

These are words I got as I prayed for Jen the day before.

And then, it happened. A call to rise up was given to the entire L Squad from several squadmates, it's time to expect the impossible.

Pieces of paper were handed out among us, each of us prayed and wrote a $ amount on it. The goal is $10,000. The deadlin is in 2 days. What can God do?

5 minutes later, all papers were handed in and Anton tallied up the numbers.

Josh was given a piece of paper with the total on it.

He couldn't speak for a minute, his eyes well up with tears now.

" I think I may be seeing this wrong. There's NO WAY this number is correct."

I couldn't wait. Everyone's eyes on him. All ears perked up.

"The number written here is $12,012!"

$12,012? Could it really be?

It's $2000 more than they needed to stay.

There, God did it! He used Josh and Jen's squadmates, the body of Christ to provide the entire $10,000 in 5 minutes.

Did I mention we are missionaries, we don't have $, many of us are not yet fully funded?

This will be a story we will be retelling for the next few months and also remember for a long time!

Tomorrow we will start Month 7 by flying to Cambodia from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and then traveling to each team's ministry sites for the month.

I have some exciting news to report on my end too, we just had another team change during this debrief. I am now in a team with 6 women that I've never been on the same team with before. BUT, I can see God's fingers all over this decision and It's completely and deliriously a good thing. I think this team changes sets me up well for the rest of the race, I have alot to look forward to. Please be praying for us! Will write more from the other side.

My new team of smiling women. We are brand new as a team, so wait to see what name we come up with! Thanks for doing life with us!
