Let's give a shoutout to another Westcoast-based racer! Like Lynette, Christine lives in the San Francisco Bayarea.
Christine is a past racer from 2010's N Squad. Like me, she works in Marketing as well. It's neat to see how God is calling us marketers to the missions field. Christine and I got connected through Jimmy, our mutual friend who goes to my church and is an editor for Witness SF.

Christine has some big things to share with me.
Jackie: Give me three words to describe your race.
Christine: Blessed, Unpredictable, Transformative.
Jackie: Did you have a "comfort" or favorite go to item on the race?
Christine: My sleeping bag.
Jackie: Can you share a vivid image that moved you?
Christine: I wouldn't say that I'm much of a feeler. However, one thing that really amazed me was watching God heal someone in the Philippines – my faith for healing grew tremendously from that. Read my blog here for the specific story.
Jackie: Knowing what you know now, what is something you would have done differently on the race?
Christine: I would have purchased a much nicer camera to take awesome photos. I would not have stressed so much about fundraising. I would have purchased a thicker sleeping mat and a warmer sleeping bag before going. In terms of being on the race, I don't think I have any regrets while I was on it.
Jackie: How did the race change you?
Christine: I actually believed that the things that happened in Jesus' time was for today in America as well. I've become more attentive to the voice of God in dreams, in prayer and through divine appointments. Community definitely became a priority. Confession of sins and vulnerability became easy for me. Walked in increasing levels of healing and freedom.
Jackie: What are you doing now after the race?
Christine: Serving the young adults group at the Ark in Berkeley, editing for a San Francisco testimony site called www.witnesssf.org, working in Marketing (as a job), building up a global testimony/miracles website.
Jackie: Anything else you wanna share?
God CAN work as powerfully in your own community as he can abroad. Put Jesus first, pray with perseverance and have abiding faith
