Party peeps,
It was so exciting to have you all in the same room. There was so much movement, energy and noise at the auction party last Sunday and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Thank you for coming, it truly meant alot to me to have each of you there. I hope you got some good Vietnamese sandwiches and watermelon and liked the Madelines we handed out.
Now to those that contributed to the auction. When it came to brainstorming for auction items, I realized living in San Francisco is a clear advantage. God has blessed me with you, my friends that are entrepreneurs and business owners. It didn't take much pitching from me to allow my dream for the World Race and vision for the auction event to move you to action. Some of you even volunteered your services immediately upon hearing about my Race and my auction idea, coming up with more ideas yourselves. I'm continually amazed at how God brings true convergence when we are living our God-given dream- by bringing the people and resources to further this dream.

A very special Thank You goes to Amy for MC'ing, auctioneering, and organizing my auction party. Amy, God gave you the gift of event planning and hospitality and I am being blessed.
As a result, I was able to raise over $1200 from the auction, and God brought more provision by giving me the rest to make my August fundraising deadline of $6500. I now have a little over $7000 in my account, needing $8000 more to be fully funded. All this in a day's work. On God's time.
