World Race?
After a very stressful last couple of months I am proud to say that I have made a final decision about what I will do next year. I have decided to put off my college experience for one year and will participate in the World Race: Gap Year program!
The World Race:Gap Year is a nine month long mission trip to three different countries. I will be traveling and living with other 18-21 year olds as I travel the world serving God. My team will be traveling to Albania, the Philippines, and South Africa! We will spend approximately three months in each country.
I feel so many emotions about my decision such as fear, excitement, nervousness, joy, and peace. I’m extremely blessed to have this opportunity which pushes me SO FAR out of my comfort zone for the glory of God.
I’d like to invite you to follow my blog for the next year to stay updated on my travels! I would also like to ask for any support through prayers, and if willing, financially. To attend the World Race, each participant must fundraise $13,805. This will cover transportation, food, and shelter! Every little bit of support/donations count! The first $5,000 is due by May 14th, so if feeling called, please support my financial needs for this trip.
The easiest way to donate is online on my page with the following link!

For anyone expecting to follow my blog consistently throughout my trip, I will try to post every couple weeks leading up the launch date (early August) and will give updates on fundraising, emotions, expectations, and anything else I find out!
Joyfully in Christ,
Jack (John) Phillips
