When i got accepted into the race i was beyond excited, It took me a few minutes to realize that i had heard the words right!
I am going on a amazing journey to help communities in need and to introduce them to Jesus.
To build schools and teach the chilren to speak english and to help prostitutes to feel love.
Words cant descrbie what an amazing oppertunity God has given me, i have always wanted to go on a missions trip but the raising the funds part always kept me from even taking the next step of applying for the trip, even if it was a small trip of raising a few thousand dollar….But this trip the world race, is a huge one. i need to raise $15,500 to go on this trip, that is a lot of cash, i myself have never had that much money in my bank account.
So why this trip you ask?
Well most of my life i have let fear rule my life, i never took chances because of the fear of failing or the fear of what could happen. I always believed those little lies being told to me," that it would be to hard" or" there is no way you can make it" or the lies i told myself, that "I'm not good enough" or "you're not smart enough for something like that"….I refuse to believe those lies anymorw! (Jeremiah 1:5) says, "Before i formed you in the womb i knew you; before you were born i sanctified you; i ordained you a phrophet to the nations"
God knows my journey, and he knows exactly who i am and he wants me on the world race, he wants me to go to the nations. I have the best relationship with God i have ever had before, in the past few months i have seen him work in my family like never before, we are the closest and strongest we have ever been!
I know that this trip will be hard, it is completely removing me from my comfort zone. I wont be able to just drink water from the tap because the water is unclean in some countries, i wont be able to go to the bathroom in a regular toilet it may just be a hole i have to stand over, or even bathe in a shower, sometimes it may be a rive or just a bowl and a cup!
But i have never felt so sure in my life of something, i know that this is exactly where God wants me to be. I have had a few concerns of leaving my family behind but God has made the way completely clear, releaving me of all my worries. i will miss my family but they support me 100% and are so proud to see me walking in Gods promise. When you make a decision presueing the dreams God gave you ALL of heaven backs you up….nothing can stand in your way if ALL of heaven has your back!! That is why i chose the world race :]
