“It is doubtful whether God can bless a man greatly until He has hurt him deeply.”-A.W. Tozer

Stay the course, keep the faith, fight the good fight…don’t grow weary in doing good. (Galatians 6:9)

This is a call to all Christians, there are times in our walk where we will go through pain, hurt and suffer…We are not called to an easy life but rather to follow Christ, the blessing in life is not to be free of trials but rather know through it God is with us and will use them toward our good. (Romans 5:3-5)

Romans 8:28 has come up 5 or more times in the past three weeks:

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” – Romans 8:28

A few days before I found out about being accepted to the world race one of my uncles (Javier) who I was close to, died in a car accident. It was sudden and unexpected, yet God has given me grace and confirmation that he knew the Lord. I place my hope in Christ (Revelation 21:4-5)

In my years as a Christian God has shown me two primary things:

1) God Loves me, deeply beyond words

2) God is faithful, even when we are not

There are times in our walk where we will have a John 6:67-69 moment. A hard time or saying will come up you will be asked “do you also want to leave?”. Yet the answer is one and the same “Lord where else can I go you have the words of eternal life”

So we press on knowing that God is faithful, and Loves us deeply beyond all measure.

We enter the narrow gate (Matt 7:13-14), take the road less traveled.

Though not much of a book reader,

I am reminded of a verse from a Robert Frost Poem (The road not taken, see link for full poem)

“I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I–
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference”

-Robert Frost (The Road Not Taken Poem)
