Here's a short introduction on me,
Testimony:
I grew up in the church and received Christ at age 7 in Sunday school and have been walking with the Lord 26 years now. (some years better than others, but through it all God has been faithful)
Age:
I'm 33 years old
Why This Trip:
All my missions trips have been to Mexico, on one of them when on an evangelism team, God gave me a heart for Spanish speakers (even though I am not fluent in Spanish) See my first blog (Why I run the World Race, http://isaiahalvarado.theworldrace.org/?filename=to-keep-a-promise) for more information.
Current church Involvement:
Singles ministry
Short term trips to Mexico, house builds, construction
Feeding homeless
Learning Guitar
Hobbies / Interests:
Watching College Football (a Pac-12, USC fan)
Challenges for this trip
Being okay with not taking showers or having clean restrooms.
Being flexible with uncertain plans
Being more of a feeler personality type than thinker (Myers-Briggs personality test)
