Hello everyone!
After 4 years of high school at Plainwell and Ardery Kell, I’ll be graduating! Over the past few years I’ve been growing stronger in my faith and I have a longing to have a deeper relationship with Jesus. As some of you know I moved to North Carolina my junior year and it was hard for me. It was hard to make friends and fit in with the students in the south. Luckily, I had my parents with me to help & guide me. We started going to Elevation Church where I was able to grow in my relationship with Jesus in a deeper way. I joined a small group bible study where I have most of my friends today. Instead of going to college right away I’ve chosen to go on a 9 month mission trip to reach out to others. This year in October, I will be heading off to be apart of an amazing opportunity with WORLD RACE (my particularly race is called the GAP YEARS). The race is designed for people my age that have graduated from high school but would like to do missions before heading right into their college career. I applied and they have accepted me to be on a team that will minister for 9 months in Thailand, Malawi, and Guatemala (3 months in each). I have been looking forward to this trip for about a year now and had lots of help from my parents. I have done lots of praying (and still am) for this trip and so excited for what God has in store.
As I prepare to travel I ask that you consider joining me on my journey by supporting me in any of the following ways. I ask that you please pray for the safety of my team and myself. I also ask that you pray that God may continue to prepare our hearts as we train and prepare to go (we will be living out of our backpacks & in the community where we’ll be working and ministering). Most importantly please pray for the families and souls we will be meeting along the way, that Jesus may open their hearts to his love and heal what is broken. We will be serving in different ways like sharing the gospel, physically helping the community or even playing with an orphan. In order for me to go on this journey not only do I need your prayers but I also ask that you consider supporting me financially. I have to raise a total of $13,805. This cost covers my food, other essentials & travel for the whole nine months of my trip. As I take this large step of faith in trusting Christ, would you consider joining me with a monthly donation of $100 or any other sum? If you can’t donate monthly I ask that you consider donating a one time amount of any sum. Everything helps get me one step closer to sharing His glory. At the end of the day I know God will provide and all glory goes to him.
