I planned on completing the thoughts of my previous blog today. I planned on showing my expanded list of things that make me happy. I planned on telling you to follow your heart, to take part in the things God allowed you to love and remove any distractions that are keeping your eyes and time away from the direction God gave you.
However, I feel a distinct tug on my heart to ask: How can I be a servant to you? In prayer? In life? In Christ? This question is for everyone. My family. My friends. My church. My squad. My neighbors. My colleagues. My teammates. My acquaintances. A perfect stranger. How can I serve you?
- Do you have a burden on your heart that I can pray for?
- Do you have a injury or ongoing pain that needs healing?
- Do you have a confession you want to be free of without fear of someone judging you?
- Do you have a date with your husband but no babysitter to watch your beautiful children?
- Do you have a evening when you will be unable to cook a homemade meal?
- Do you have a dog that would love to go for a long walk?
- Do you have a flower garden over-grown with weeds??
- Do you wish you received hand written letters instead of email?
- Do you have questions about scripture you would like to discuss?
- Do you have questions about our Heavenly Father you just can't get into perspective?
- Do you crave for God's love but don't know where to start?
How can I serve you? I am asking you because the Lord has been showing me that our life is about PEOPLE. It isn't about a house, a job, a car or a bank account. It's all about people. Jesus didn't die on the cross to save our homes. Jesus didn't die on the cross to save our jobs. Jesus didn't die on the cross because he loved our hobbies. Jesus died for our sins because He loved US. Let me repeat, Jesus loves you.
I will pray for you. I will fight for you. I will walk with you. I will encourage you. I will serve you. I will do whatever it takes for you to know and feel God's love for you.
How can I serve you?
