What are you going to miss the most?  My church family and cooking in the comfort of my kitchen.

One thing you have to take with you?  My camera.

What are you most excited to experience on the race?  Deepening my prayer, worship and time in scripture.  I also look forward to God working in the places we visit, the community within my team and squad, trying new foods and becoming fluent in Spanish.

What are you most nervous to experience on the race?  Feeling dirty and smelling bad on a regular basis, and getting a virus.

What country are you most excited about serving in?  It’s a toss-up between Guatemala and Peru.

What ministry excites you the most to experience on the race?  Anything with kids, especially if it involves sports, art or reading and writing.

What nonessential item do you want to bring in your pack?  Honestly, I am hoping this trip will help me leave behind all nonessentials.  But if I could pick something it would probably be a Frisbee or something I can throw around.  My second choice would be a reading tablet (which I don’t have) so I can keep up on reading.
