My name is Hosanna Gutierrez.
I was born and raised in New Mexico, USA.
I decided to follow Jesus when I was 21yrs old, 6yrs ago, after I faced a miscarriage.
My past without God was made up of loneliness, bad and selfish decisions, and emptiness.
God asked for my life and gave me a new one.
I am now living in a world with many friends who love and encourage me. I have an amazing church community who are lighting up the world with God’s love. I have witnessed God work in, through and around me in a breathtaking, beautiful way.
I have had the pleasure of doing missions in Kenya and Mexico. I would have never imagined doing missions but it’s a passion that God has instilled in me. He has not only given me a desire to do overseas missions but also to be on mission at home, in my own neighborhood.
Before I went on missions, I couldn’t understand why someone would go to a different state or country to share Jesus when they could do that at home. What I have witnessed is, being from a different country gives a missionary an advantage to share Jesus. People are curious and interested in you when you are from a foreign place. They come up to you, they start the conversations, they want to know more about you and this opens the door to tell them about God and his love for them. People in foreign areas accept you differently than those in your home area.
I cannot wait to get my feet on the ground on this journey and I hope that you will partner with me in prayer, encouragement, and financially.
