The Basics:
I'm a pretty easy going person, with a little spunk and goof thrown in most of the time. I love to laugh and I love people. I love learning what makes a person tick and what has brought them to this place in their lives. I am one of three siblings and a lover of music. Christ has been a huge part of my life since I was about 9 years old. I lead worship at The Cove Church of Mooresville where I have been a member and attending for over 10 years now. The Cove has played a huge part in my walk with the Lord. It is where I first experienced what it meant to have Christ centered relationships and where I learned how to follow Jesus. I have a bachelors degree in International Public Relations but should have a degree in procrastination with a minor in sarcasm (all things I am working on…most days 
) .
The Fam:
My Dad has been a solid rock for my entire life. He is the one person (On Earth) that has been by my side continually supporting me at my lowest and highest points. I wouldn't be where I am today without his love and support. He is one of my best friends.
My Sister has also been a large part of my life. We have been through a lot together but stuck by each other the entire time. It's been tough but well worth it.
Finally, My Grandfather and my Mother were the biggest family influences on my faith in Christ. My mother brought me to faith in Christ when I was nine years old. My grandfather was a great man of God who always pushed his grandchildren to know and understand God. He would continually pray for each one of us. He was an incredible influence in my life and walk with the Lord. They have both gone to be with the Lord and I miss them terribly but know they would both be so excited about what I am doing.
I'm just going to refer to these amazing people as family as well 🙂 This has been a solid group of people for the past 8 years it has grown and there are a few missing from this picture, but I give credit to these people as well for making me into the woman I am today!
My friends have shaped me into who I am today. I wish I could put pictures of all of them up on here so you could see those who have been a huge part of my life, but I can't. But they know I love them.
The Randoms:
I really love chicken.
I just recently learned how to eat celery the right way. ( trust me it was difficult, it's so stringy)
Frank Sinatra and Country music are really soothing to me.
I could eat Mexican food pretty much everyday of the week.
When I first meet people I try to make the other person super comfortable by asking them a million questions.
I really want to learn to play the guitar and the piano, but I get distracted and bored really easy.
I secretly really do want to be a free-style rap artist.
I find it really hard to think of random facts about myself right now. 🙂
My Passion:
I have a passion for Christ, and loving people the way he did. I have not in any way perfected it, and I am far from being good at it. But, I love to love people. Especially, those hurting. God has layed a great passion on my heart for freeing people through musical worship. He has blessed me with a voice and has called me to lead people into worship with himself. My prayer is that people would see Christ shine through me and find their freedom in Christ and be able to celebrate and worship him in total freedom. My hope and prayer is that God would use me on The World Race to love those the world would consider unloveable, to give hope to the hopeless and to bring people to a place of freedom in Christ. I also hope to grow closer to the Lord and find my hope and freedom in him as well. I'm also SUPER excited to meet new people and make new friends from all over the world.
