Hello! I’m Hope, I am 23 and live in Colorado. I graduated from college last year and have been working at a local television station for almost 2 years now. I had thought of being a news reporter, but my desire and love for God and missions is so much stronger, so ultimately that is the passion I chose to invest in! I am so excited to give up my job in order to travel the world sharing my faith. I am looking forward to seeing God take hold of me, and to watch him mold me and share with me who I have been designed to be. We all have special gifts and I can’t wait to learn more about how God is going to use my gifts for his glory.
I have many passions. I love children, and have always had a heart for orphans. I teach Sunday School at my church and am constantly reminded by the kids what childlike faith looks life.
I love long walk on the beach! No seriously I do, however the ocean is far from where I live, but when I do get to go to a beach I love to just listen to the waves. I have always felt at peace near the ocean, but I love mountains more. I grew up in Montana, and went to college in Colorado so obviously I love being outdoors. I love the fresh smell of pine trees almost as much as I love the sounds of the waves.
I have never been on a long term mission trip before, in fact the only other country I have ever been to was Canada, so this next year is going to be eye opening for me. All in all I am ready to fall into God’s call for my life!
