Even though I haven’t had access to a washing machine/dryer for over a month, and I often wear smelly clothes – I’m thankful that I have clothes to wear.

Even though I am living on a tight food budget, and I my hunger is often left unsatisfied – I am thankful that I have food to eat.

Even though I often sleep on the ground with no comforter – I’m thankful for my sleeping pad and sleeping bag.

Even though I’ve been mildly sick for most of the World Race – I’m thankful that my health hasn’t been worse.

Even though I don’t yet have all of the money raised for this trip – I’m thankful for what I do have, and for all the people who have generously given toward my cause.

Even though there will be no pumpkin pie this Thanksgiving – I’m thankful that we will have no bake cookies and apple crisp for dessert.

Even though I’m apart from my family and friends this holiday season –
I’m thankful that I have 43 incredible people to celebrate it with.

That’s all for now, folks!
