Who am I?

Who is that girl I see starring back at me. When will my reflection show who I am inside? Yes, that’s the song from Mulan. But that’s what comes to mind.

    

This year is not only about sharing the Gospel, helping those in need, and building life long relationships. This year is a journey to find out who I really am, but more importantly who God wants me to be. Before coming on the World Race, I thought I had it all figured out. I’m Hope Manley. I have a twin sister and wonderful parents. I’m compassionate, love people, and love the outdoors. But who am I really? It wasn’t until I left my comfortable life that I’m actually finding out the real me. This month has been an emotional roller coaster and learning process that I won’t soon forget. I love living in close community with other Christians because I see characteristics in them that encourage me to be a better person. This year is a journey of self discovery. I hope you join me and maybe you’ll learn a little about yourself along the way.
