We were asked to answer the statement “The kingdom of heaven is like…”

What does the kingdom of heaven mean to me? I haven’t really thought about it in depth before and I think that’s really sad that I haven’t. I think my World Race journey is going to help me dig deeper into who God is and what He’s all about.

The Kingdom of Heaven is…
I see the kingdom of heaven in God’s creation. New Zealand is a beautiful country with gorgeous mountains, plants, and immense oceans and not to mention a million sheep. Creation proves to me that God exists and that He wants to share His beauty with us.

Even more than nature, I see the kingdom of heaven here on Earth in people.
Genesis 1:27
“So God created man in his own image”…I see God’s righteousness and love pouring out of people I come in contact with everyday. God’s kingdom is seen in a kind smile, an encouraging word, or a child’s joyful laughter.

Luke 17:21
“The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation. nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or there it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you.” My mind can’t totally grasp that concept. God’s kingdom lives within me and YOU! I’ve seen kingdom…yesterday my amazing team, Trumpets of One, had a meeting and I shared with them my struggles. They prayed and encouraged me and in that moment brought kingdom to Earth. Kingdom to me is when you imitate God and let His light shine through your actions and words.

What would I do with out Trumpets of One?!
We are kingdom…
