I sit here writing this blog in Mae Sot, Thailand, the night before leaving for Malaysia. Writing blogs, I have found, isn’t the easiest for me, hence the reason why I have only written one blog per country!

Coming into this month, I was excited about working with OurPour Movement. I was expectant that God would show up. Honest moment, the first three months of the World Race were really rough for me, in all the good ways the Lord had planned. I love when we set expectations for something and the Father so lovingly, meets us in those expectations and exceeds them.

OutPour Movement does so many great and amazing things that are helping to further the Kingdom of God, not just in Thailand but Burma, as well. I cannot find the right words to express all that this ministry does. My words simple wouldn’t do it justice, so please check out their website/ videos. If you feel lead to give financially to their campaign, do so! http://www.outpourmovement.com

There was a day this month that we got to go into Burma and do a prayer walk with a local Burmese man named Myo, and two of my teammates. I was talking with the Father about what it looks like to bring His Gospel to these places that we go.

*Side note* you know those thoughts that you get in your head, when you think “man that is an interesting thought! Is that you God talking to me!?”

This was one of those moments. We were walking by a temple, and I remember I kept looking at my feet and thinking about the verse in Romans that states “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” (Romans 10:15) Then the thought crossed my mind, “Hope, don’t make spreading the Gospel too complicated.” I kept walking and continued to talk with the Father. The Lord so graciously, and kindly whispered to me “child, when you simply walk these streets, you are bringing Jesus into these dark places. You my child, physically have the DNA of Jesus inside of you. The Holy Spirit is within you. You don’t have to verbally speak Jesus to people, by you smiling and saying hello to people, that is a representation of me, to My people. All I require and ask of you is to love.”

When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, the gift of the Holy Spirit enters into us and we get to walk in that each and every day. When the Lord made us, He made us in His image. “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” (Genesis 1:27) As Christ followers, we get the most beautiful gift of being a representation of Him. “Therefore, we are ambassadors of Christ, God making His appeal through us.” (2 Corinthians 5:20)

Let me encourage each and every one of you that the Father made you specifically for a purpose that ONLY YOU can do! You also have the most High King’s DNA living and breathing inside of you. And because of that, you can walk confidently in the fact that when you accept Jesus into your heart, you have the Holy Spirit dwelling in you.

The power of the Holy Spirit is so great that all we have to do in walk through the streets of Burma and the presence of the Lord is already there. The Kingdom of Heaven is simply meeting the Earth through us!

My hope and prayer is that this encourages someone today, as it encouraged me the other day! Don’t make the Gospel too complicated. You are the light in the darkest places of the world and the enemy will flee because you have the Holy Spirit dwelling so deeply in you.

I love you all!

In It For Good With Him,

Hope
