Hello all,
My name is Holley Thornton and I am excited to announce that I am officially part of the
July 2015 Route 3 race.
I want to begin by sharing a little background information about myself so you can get to know me.

This is my wonderful family. These are my favorite people.

- Matthew (or Mash) is the youngest of the 6 and is and will always be our little baby.
- Bradley (he is photo-shopped and a bit overdressed) is the second oldest and the funniest person I know.
- Micah is the 5th child. He is a character, I tell ya. But he has the sweetest, most tender heart that I know of.
- Dathanis not related to us, but he might as well be. He came to our house one day and never left. He is a Marine and we are proud! 🙂

- Shelley is the 3rd child and is my best friend. We are 13 months apart and are inseparable. She’s an amazing, driven, and super HILARIOUS person and I am sad that I will be away from her for so long.
- Holley (that’s me) I’m child number 4.
- Ashley is the oldest of the bunch. She’s the one I look up and always have looked up to. She’s going to be a mom in December and we are so excited.
My parents are not pictured, but none of us would exist without them. I do not know how they have made it this far with all of us, but they sure have done a great job.
There are many other family members and friends that are not pictured that have impacted my life in many ways. I am so thankful for the relationships I have with these people.

{A Little About Me}
- I am 21 years old.
- I grew up in Santo, Texas. I am currently living in Weatherford, Texas.
- I’m a Texan, ya’ll.
- I love to have fun. Even if it is telling lame jokes that no one laughs at but me.
- I am going to be a teacher! I graduate May 2015 from Tarleton State University with a Bachelors in Science and major in Interdisciplinary Studies. I will be certified to teach EC-6 generalist and will be ESL certified.
- My life currently consists of school, school, and school.
- I sing in the worship band at my church. I prefer harmony over lead.
- I’ve been to Haiti 3 times since July 2013. I go with an organization called Back to Life Ministries and love the people and culture there. I am exited to be able to go back there while I am on the race. (go check out the Back to Life Ministry website) http://www.backtolifeministries.org/
- I have a big heart for children and missions.
- I like to go fishing, camping, hiking, and anything that has to do with outdoors.
That’s enough about me. Now it’s my turn to learn more about you!
I look forward to the journey that is ahead and am expectant and excited to see God work not only in my life, but yours as well.
