I was born in Omaha, Nebraska (so random, I know) and moved a few times thanks to my father's career in the Air Force.  Northern Virginia is where I call home.  I have spent most of my years growing up in Leesburg, Virginia…the straight suburbs of Washington D.C.  I just relocated from Nashville back to Northern Virginia, and though I may have a love/hate relationship with this town, I am beyond thankful to be spending my last few months with family and friends before I adventure abroad.

I recently received my BBA this past May from Belmont University in Nashville, TN. The four years I spent in Nashville were easily the best four years of my life.  I learned, I loved, I grew up, and I grew deeper in my love with Jesus Christ.  I'm thankful for the Christ centered community I was surrounded and encouraged by through my peers.  While at Belmont I involved myself with Greek Life (Phi Mu), Collegiate DECA, and working part time in sales at Michael Kors.

A few things that make me happy:

– my amazing support system of family, friends, and sisters in Phi Mu

– traveling all over the world and experiencing new cultures

– good humor…i'm a sucker for anyone that makes me laugh!

– fashion

– music of all kinds

– sports—especially football..Hail to the Redskins!

– great food is my weakness

I'm anxious to share my journey through the next 11 months as I embark on this adventure.  I ask kindly for prayer, guidance, and support along the way.
